During a Q&amp;A session, I asked about their sources of revenue and expenses beyond routine matters. The mayor replied that they collect fees and receive assistance from the province. Regarding expenses, he mentioned, &#8220;Apart from what is common in all cities, we also cover the costs of churches.&#8221; This surprised me; I argued, &#8220;It&#8217;s not right to spend the fees collected from everyone on a specific group.&#8221; I explained that in our country, fees are spent on the cities themselves, and the expenses of sacred places of different religions are covered by the followers of those religions. The mayor&#8217;s justification that they don&#8217;t have believers in their community and that they preserve old buildings, including churches, as historical sites did not convince me. I stressed that maintenance of historical buildings should have a separate budget.<\/p><p>In Copenhagen, several things caught my attention. One was the famous Hunting Lodge, opposite which stood a large statue depicting a hunt, beautifully crafted. Another intriguing sight was a garden where flowers and greenery were arranged to mimic the pattern of a Persian carpet, specifically a Tabriz rug design. This outdoor carpet was quite large, around ten by twenty meters, and seeing it was a delightful experience. Additionally, the Hunting Lodge had a special mechanism for delivering food and refreshments to council meetings via a dedicated elevator, minimizing disruptions. Another notable attraction was the statue of a girl by the sea, placed on a large rock and symbolizing loyalty.
