He had a walking stick, which he stuck into the ground beside the water, thinking, &#8220;Let this stay here; if someone comes with a horse, they can tie their horse to this stick and rest.&#8221; That person left his walking stick and went on his way. Another traveler arrived; he was thirsty, sat down, drank some water, and rested for a bit; he thought to himself, &#8220;What is this walking stick doing here?
